Pink Batik Blouse

I just realized that last week was my roommate B'day... Waghh... Dumb me, I'm not a good friend indeed... hmm... I think I have to made some apology gift.. so I started some project during my lovely long weekend holiday and I just finished it yesterday...

I found the idea from my Muslim wear database. The theme should be simple sweet, and from hundred models, my choice fell on patterned blouse with bias binding detail.

It wasn't hard to find suitable fabric, I found beautiful light cotton with batik pattern by chance on fabric store near my house... the material is soft and look comfortable...

I choose simple model so the process wasn't complicated and took so long. However, there were some part needs handled carefully because my sewing machine working unstable.

BIAS BINDING

I should repeat this part three times because the machine won't compromise T_T.

COLLAR

I try to sew as neat as possible, so I put all of my pins to help me to finish the collar.

And after sew piece by piece, here is the final result...

I put another detail behind the blouse by adding button tabs on the waist, and sewed 2 buttons on each side so the width can be adjusted.

I was very glad I can finished this project on time. Before wash it, I try it to make sure everything well done...
